A few tips to presenting your home ready for photos

More often than not when providing advice to our new clients about how we market our properties, a common question arises; ‘What shall we do in preparation for photos?’

Here are a few tips to ensure you get the best out of your property photography.

  • Declutter the best you can (make the most of every cupboard!)
  • Get those odd jobs that need the last finishing touches completed
  • Remove coats, dressing gowns and towels from the backs of doors
  • Get the garden looking at its best with cut grass and some outdoor furniture (if able to)
  • Fluff those cushions and get any creases out of the curtains
  • Don’t overspend, after-all, the next person may want to put their own stamp on it

In most cases the front of the property is going to be the lead picture and you want this to look the best it can to ensure potential buyers are attracted to your listing and have them wanting to see more.

The quality of your photos is the second most important thing when it comes to selling or letting - do you know what’s first? To find out, give our experienced team of agents a call today and book your free advice meeting!
